All Are Welcome

Hey Mezzheads! Whether it’s your first time at a dance event or you’ve joined us over the years, you should know we work hard to make MezzJelly a welcoming space for everyone regardless of race, religious beliefs, national origin, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical appearance, age, or ability.

It’s our goal to create fun spaces that challenge your dance comfort zone but not your personal boundaries. We want you to meet new people and try new things and not take yourself too seriously. We expect you to respect the personal boundaries others have set and to honour your own personal boundaries. And we expect every attendee, including staff, to do the same. By all working together, checking in with our partners, and avoiding assumptions, we can enjoy the dancing knowing that we can expect to be treated with respect.

At MezzJelly, any behaviour that unreasonably affects your ability or the ability of others to enjoy the event will be taken very seriously. This includes, but is not limited to, verbal comments and physical behaviours that are intimidating, threatening, abusive, or otherwise unwelcome. If anyone engages in harassing or unsafe behaviour the MezzJelly Organizing Team may take any action we deem appropriate including, but not limited to, warnings, immediate removal/barring from the event, and exclusion from future MezzJelly events.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact the Team immediately.

By virtue of registering for this event, attending this event, or appearing at any event location during event hours, in any capacity, you agree to be held to the standards of this Code of Conduct.

Now let’s have some fun with the Blues!
